Today we have a full day to explore the villages in Dzongu – mostly by walk. Visit Lepcha family households and meet the locals to understand their original traditions and beliefs, which they have been preserving for ages. You can talk to the people and know their stories, history and rituals. We will also take you to the forest trails to observe the rich birdlife of Dzongu Reserve. Again, you can go to the wild stream to catch fish and have it traditionally cooked in a locally arranged picnic lunch by the river.
