Biking in the East Sikkim frontiers (Only for Indian Nationals)

Destinations Covered || Kalimpong * Lava * Aritar * Zuluk * Nathang Valley * Gangtok

Introduction || In this one week, you will traverse through the unseen Eastern Sikkim Frontiers with Bhutan and Tibet reaching the higher ridges of Zuluk – Nathang Valley-Bedang Tso - Tsongo Basin between 3000 and 4000 meters. This trail is a recent addition to Sikkim tourism Map, and most of the parts are still unexplored for the bikers. Less traffic and stunning surroundings marked by High Mountain peaks, alpine lakes, impenetrable forests of Pangolakha, high mountain pass and yak pastures make your biking experience an unforgettable one. We start biking from Kalimpong – the ancient trade centre for Tibet and India and enter Sikkim through Aritar biking along the historical trade route, popularly known as Silk Route to Lhasa. We will reach Gangtok via Tsongo Lake and with a possible visit to Nathula Pass on the Indo-China border (this is subject to the availability of a permit)

Steep and challenging terrain is suitable only for experienced bikers, and at this moment, only Indian Nationals are permitted to go on this tour.
